Along with this, many safety features will soon be mandatory in cars to make the journey more safe.
Emphasis will be placed on safety in vehicles to reduce road accidents. The central government is soon going to make it mandatory for automobile manufacturing companies to have three-point seatbelts on all seats in their cars. In which the seat belt will be necessary for the third passenger sitting in the middle of the rear seat, so that there is less chance of death due to any accident. For this, necessary rules of car manufacturers can be implemented to implement safety standards at the international level. The government is going to study different safety standards in this regard.
In order to reduce the death toll due to road accidents, the Central Government is going to take many important decisions. In this matter, the Road Transport Ministry of the Central Government is preparing to issue a notification soon. Now soon this rule will be made public and it will be necessary for all the vehicle manufacturers to use it in their vehicles. That is, it will be mandatory to give three point belt on every seat of the car.
Recently, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways approved a draft requiring car manufacturers to offer at least 6 airbags in vehicles that can seat 8 passengers. According to the ready draft, star rating will also be issued based on the safety features of the car through an independent agency so that people can be made aware. Apart from this, major decisions will also be taken in the direction of electronic stability control, advanced emergency braking system, limit setting of dangerous goods in the vehicle, alert system when the driver is asleep, lane driving warning system and reducing noise pollution.
