Kane Williamson is yet to recover from his elbow injury. This is the reason why he has to be out of this 2-match home Test series. Tom Latham will be the captain of the team in the absence of Kane Williamson. Apart from Williamson, fast bowler Trent Boult will also be out of the third Test due to the birth of his third child.
